Gospels and the Challenge of Additional Verses; A Study of Additional Verses in the Codices and Translations of the Four Gospels

Christians believe that all the gospels are divinely inspired; That is, nothing has been added or subtracted from it; While the oldest available version of the Gospels is at least three hundred years away from the alleged time of its compilation, and the later versions are about nine hundred years. This point has caused the different verses of different versions of the Gospels to be different from each other; A claim that challenges the revelation and incorruptibility of the text of the Gospels. Using the descriptive-analytical method, this research, which is based on the documents of the Holy Book, tries to investigate the additional verses claimed in the codices and translations of the Gospels and to express the views presented in this field. Pointing to God's design on the existence of alleged verses, the inability of copyists to correctly transmit the original text, and the possibility of minor errors in the text of the Bible, are among the views that have been raised in the context of the additional verses of the New Testament.

Abstract:
باور مسیحیان بر این است که تمام اناجیل، الهام الهی‌اند؛ یعنی نه چیزی بدان افزوده و نه از آن کاسته شده است؛ درحالی‌که قدیمی‌ترین نسخه‌ای که از اناجیل در دسترس است، دست‌کم سیصد سال با زمان ادعایی تدوین آن فاصله دارد و نسخه‌های متأخرتر نیز تا حدود نهصد سال. همین نکته سبب شده است که آیات مختلفِ نسخه‌های گوناگون اناجیل با یکدیگر تفاوت داشته باشند؛ ادعایی که وحیانی بودن و تحریف‌ناپذیری متن اناجیل را با چالش مواجه می‌سازد. این تحقیق که بر پایه‌ی اسناد کتابِ‌مقدسی صورت گرفته، درصدد است تا با اتخاذ روشی توصیفی ـ تحلیلی، آیات الحاقی مورد ادعا در کدکس‌ها و ترجمه‌های اناجیل را بررسی و دیدگاه‌های ارائه‌شده در این زمینه را بیان کند. اشاره به طرح و تدبیر الهی بر وجود آیات ادعایی، ناتوانی نسخه‌نویسان در انتقال صحیح متن اصلی، و امکان وجود خطاهای کم‌اهمیت در متن کتاب مقدس، ازجمله دیدگاه‌هایی است که در زمینه‌ی آیات الحاقی عهد جدید مطرح شده‌اند.
