About Journal (Ma`rifat-e Adyan)

Undoubtedly, one of the most fundamental missions of educational and research centers in the field of Islamic sciences is to cultivate and elevate religious knowledge among believers. Specialized familiarity with other religions can be considered a worthy step toward achieving this goal.

Despite the existence of general and specialized publications in this field, experts have repeatedly pointed to the lack of a journal that could fulfill the mission of scholarly examination of religions by presenting substantial academic works. Therefore, the Research Deputy of the Imam Khomeini Educational and Research Institute has taken the initiative to publish the specialized academic journal "Ma`rifat-e Adyan" (A Quarterly Journal of Religions). This aims to provide researchers with the groundwork for informed understanding of religions and to create a suitable platform for dialogue and interaction among followers of different faiths.
