Feminist theology, which places women at the center of its epistemology, considers Christianity and some of its teachings, such as Christology and Mariology, to be in line with the inferiority of women and the superiority of men. Mariology in feminist theology is closely related to Christology and the doctrine of salvation, and in fact, it forms the next link in the chain of Christian discussions. Mary Daly, as one of the most important people in the course of radical feminism, criticized the Mariology of classical theology, and after that, some Christian theologians tried to answer her. This article, through analytical-descriptive method, is to find out what the classical and traditional theological viewpoints in the field of Mariology have on the approaches concerned religious-social attitudes towards all women and comes to the conclusion that feminist theologians, especially Mary Daly, referring to characteristics such as submission, pure obedience, and. virginity, not only do not consider Mary to be imitated, but she is considered to strengthen the inferiority of women.
