Abstract:
Feminist theology, which places women at the center of its epistemology, holds that Christianity and some of its doctrines (such as Christology and Mariology) serve to subordinate women and privilege men. Mariology in feminist theology is closely related to Christology and the doctrine of salvation, forming the subsequent link in the chain of Christian discourses. Mary Daly, one of the most significant figures in radical feminism, criticized the Mariology of classical theology, prompting some Christian theologians to respond to her. This article, using an analytical-descriptive method and a brief review of the views of scholars in feminist theology, seeks to understand what consequences classical and traditional theology in the field of Mariology has had for religious and social attitudes toward women as a whole. It concludes that feminist theologians, especially Mary Daly, by pointing to characteristics such as submissiveness, absolute obedience, and virgin birth, not only consider the Virgin Mary not to be emulated but also see her as reinforcing the subordination of women.

Abstract:
الهیات فمینیستی (Feminist Theology) که زنان را محور معرفت‌شناسی خود قرار می‌دهد، مسیحیت و برخی آموزه‌های آن (مانند مسیح‌شناسی و مریم‌شناسی) را در راستای فرودستی زنان و برتری مردان می‌داند. مریم‌شناسی در الهیات فمینیستی ارتباط تنگاتنگی با مسیح‌شناسی و آموزة نجات دارد و در زنجیرة مباحث مسیحیت، حلقة پس از آن را تشکیل می‌دهد. مری دیلی، یکی از مهم‌ترین افراد در جریان فمینیسم رادیکال، به نقد مریم‌شناسی الهیات کلاسیک پرداخته است و در پی آن نیز برخی متألهان مسیحی درصدد پاسخ به او برآمده‌اند. این مقاله بر آن است که با استفاده از روش تحلیلی ـ توصیفی و با نگاه اجمالی به دیدگاه‌ها و گفته‌های صاحب‌نظران در زمینة الهیات فمینیستی، دریابد که دیدگاه الهیات کلاسیک و سنتی در حوزة مریم‌شناسی چه پیامدهایی بر رویکردها و نگرش‌های دینی ـ اجتماعی به کل زنان داشته است و به این نتیجه می‌رسد که الهی‌دانان فمینیست، به‌خصوص مری دیلی، با اشاره به ویژگی‌هایی مانند سرسپردگی، تبعیت محض و بکرزایی، نه‌تنها حضرت مریم(ع) را قابل تقلید نمی‌دانند، بلکه او را تقویت‌کنندة فرودستی زنان می‌دانند.
