Examining the Christian sources and early Christian groups, one can claim that Christianity was a monotheistic religion from the beginning, and one can find its monotheistic roots among those groups. This article tries to analyze and identify the early Christian monotheistic groups as well as their Christology using a descriptive-analytical method. According to this research, the early Christian monotheistic sects introduce Jesus as a human being and as God’s messenger, and there was no Trinity in their beliefs. Adhering to the Mosaic law, they considered Jesus as God's creation and disagreed with the teachings of Paul and believed in monotheism without believing in the Trinity. It is clear that the most important reason for the validity of the monotheists’ beliefs of the early Christianity about the non-divinity of Jesus and his nature, is that their beliefs are approved by reason; this is because it is not rational for God to have human body or for a human to have divinity.
