    A Reflection on Buddhist Cosmology

    Abstract: 
    Abstract Although Buddha forewarned his followers against discussing such issues as the beginning and end of the universe, the religious texts of main Buddhist schools, later, provide a picture of Buddhist cosmology, which is divided into two main types: spatial or spacial which describes the arrangement of different worlds and temporal cosmology which explains how creatures are created and destroyed. Spatial cosmology is divided into vertical or cakravada (or cakravada) cosmology and horizontal or sahasravada cosmology. It should be noted that there is no single cosmological system in Buddhism, which shows its disharmony.

    Title :تأملی در کیهان‌شناسی بودایی
    Abstract: 
    با آنکه بودا پیروان خود را از پرداختن به مباحثی همچون آغاز و انجام جهان برحذر می داشت، اما بعدها متون دینی مکاتب اصلی بودایی، تصویری از جهان شناسی بودایی ارائه می کنند. کیهان شناسی بودایی به دو نوع کلی تقسیم می شود: کیهان شناسی فضایی یا مکانی که آرایش عوالم مختلف را توصیف می کند و کیهان شناسی زمانی که چگونگی پیدایش و نابودی کائنات را بیان می کند. کیهان شناسی فضایی بر دو نوع کیهان شناسی عمودی یا چَکرَوادَه یا چَکرَواله و کیهان شناسی افقی یا شاهسره واده تقسیم می شود. لازم به یادآوری است که در دین بودا یک نظام جهان شناختی واحد وجود ندارد و این نشان از ناهماهنگی در این آیین است.
