The "great pyramid of existence" or the "cosmic order" is the most fundamental ontological project that has existed among many different societies and cultures since the beginning of the prehistoric times and has systematized the society. Examples of the concept of "cosmic order" among nations are: the Indian tradition of "Rita", the Zoroastrian belief of "Ashe", "Maat" in the ancient Egypt, "Dharma" in Buddhism, "Logos" in Christianity, "Daiko" or "Minos" in ancient Greece, "Dao" in the Far East and "Unity" in Islam. Accordingly, the universe was thought to consist of a great chain that establishes a purposeful order for all beings, from the highest to the lowest beings; i.e. a metaphysical perspective that sought meaning and coherence in the world. Originally based on myth, this view had two aspects, celestial and terrestrial, and the terrestrial form led to the formation of various political and philosophical systems. Using a descriptive-analytical method, this research deals with one of its concepts, namely "Maat" in the ancient Egyptian civilization, in several aspects and shows that the various dimensions of "Maat" indicate a monotheistic logic that becomes meaningful in connection with the transcendental and celestial affairs.
