The only hope for his help
The purpose of the research is to compare the narratives of the Torah and the Holy Quran regarding the construction and saving of Noah's ark in terms of the monotheistic aspect and the meaning of the aforementioned teachings. The research has been done with the method of comparative study and the use of library documents.
According to the findings of the research, in both books, divine aid in building and saving Noah's ark as a sign of monotheism in Lordship, the validity of the call to monotheism, the sincerity of divine promises, the salvation of believers, and a source of strengthening faith in the one and only God. There is hope for his help.
Despite the similarities, the narration of the Holy Qur'an has a stronger monotheistic character due to its more, more explicit and detailed emphasis on divine assistance, God's absolute power, and Noah's complete submission and obedience to God's command. In the Qur'an, the salvation of Noah (pbuh) is interpreted as an example of the salvation of believers against oppression and the reward of obeying God's commands.
