abstract = {Mourning ritual practices form part of the cultural- social aspects of society. A study of the mourning ritual practices has special significance because it contributes to forming a clear idea about the culture and beliefs of the members of that. Since ancient times, that is, before the advent of Islam, there have different mourning ritual practice in Iran. For instance, the mourning ritual practices of religious minorities, including Sabians. The present paper focuses on the mourning ritual practices of Sabians and examines their thoughts and views about these practices; it uses an analytical-historical method.},

abstract_fa ={یکی از مسائل فرهنگی و اجتماعی در هر جامعه ای، آداب و رسوم سوگواری است. بررسی آیین های سوگواری، ازآنجا که می تواند نشان دهنده‌ی فرهنگ و باورهای افراد یک جامعه باشد، بسیار مهم می نماید. در ایران نیز از دیرباز، از دوران باستان تا ورود اسلام و تا کنون، آداب و مراسم مختلف سوگواری وجود داشته است؛ از جمله می توان به سوگواری در میان اقلیت های مذهبی و از میان ایشان، صابئین اشاره کرد. این پژوهش بر آن است تا آداب سوگواری در میان صابئین، و در واقع افکار و اندیشه های ایشان درباره‌ی این مراسم را کانون توجه قرار دهد. این پژوهش به شیوه‌ی تحلیلی- تاریخی نگارش یافته است.},
