The real perfection and happiness are the concepts whose definition and determination of their instances depend on the type of world view in a moral system. The moral systems of the Holy Qur’an and four Gospels, due to their common origin, define the real perfection and happiness as "drawing nigh to God" and its conditions as faith and commitment to pious deeds. Accordingly, man can achieve the real happiness, that is, eternal salvation and triumph, because he enjoys the blessing of free will, has a definite aim, and tries to achieve it. However, he may fail to take the perfection path due to those factors that undermine or take away his faith. These factors commonly emphasized in the Holy Qur’an and four Gospels are as follows: sensual desire, world, and Satan. The world is the object of the sensual desire and Satan approves and adorns the sensual desires. انحطاط اخلاقی یعنی بازماندن از سیر در طریق کمال و یا خروج از آن بواسطۀ کسب رذایل اخلاقی. کمال و سعادت حقیقی مفاهیمی هستند که تعریف و تعیین مصادیق آنها وابسته به نوع جهان بینی یک نظام اخلاقی است. نظام های اخلاقی قرآن و اناجیل اربعه بواسطۀ بهره مندی از منشایی مشترک، کمال و سعادت حقیقی را «تقرب به خدا» و لازمۀ آن را ایمان و التزام بر اعمال مؤمنانه معرفی می کنند. بر این اساس، انسان بواسطۀ بهره مندی از نعمت اختیار، هدف داری و تلاشگری، قادر است تا سعادت حقیقی یعنی فلاح و فوز ابدی را از آن خویش سازد. اما بواسطۀ عواملی که موجب تضعیف یا سلب ایمان او می گردند، ممکن است از مسیر کمال بازماند. این عوامل که به طور مشترک در قرآن و اناجیل بر آنها تأکید شده است، عبارتند از: هوای نفس، دنیا و شیطان. دنیا، موضوع هوای نفس و شیطان، مؤید و آرایشگر هواهای نفسانی است. https://marefateadyan.nashriyat.ir/sites/marefateadyan.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/1.pdf
