On the other hand, in today's world, the religion-based moral system is regarded as perfect. As two authoritative sources in Islam and Christianity, the Holy Qur'an and the New Testament have also provided many teachings in this regard. These two main religious sources have taken a teleological and perfectionist approach to the theory of value, in the sense that they both strive for the liberation and salvation of man. The difference is that the New Testament considers liberation from the original sin and the return of man to his first place, but the Holy Qur'an considers liberation from the world and approach to God and the attainment of a higher position. The New Testament also takes into account the worldly gifts and finally the kingdom of the heavens, whereas the Holy Qur'an considers the worldly and otherworldly rewards. بی تردید نظریه‌ی «ارزش»، مهم ترین عنصر در هر نظام اخلاقی است. از سوی دیگر، نظام اخلاقی مبتنی بر منابع دینی در جهان کنونی، در مقام ارائه‌ی نظام اخلاقی کامل عیار برآمده است. قرآن کریم و عهد جدید، به عنوان دو منبع معتبر در اسلام و مسیحیت نیز در این راستا آموزه های فراوانی ارائه کرده اند. این دو منبع اصیل دینی، رویکردی غایت گرایانه و کمال گرا، نسبت به نظریه‌ی ارزش اتخاذ نموده اند؛ به این بیان که هر دو برای رهایی و رستگاری انسان تلاش می کنند؛ با این تفاوت که عهد جدید، رهایی از گناه اصلی و بازگشت انسان به جایگاه اول خود را مدنظر قرار داده است و قرآن کریم رهایی از دنیا و تقرّب به خدا و راه یافتن به جایگاهی بالاتر را. همچنین، عهد جدید مواهب دنیوی و در نهایت، ملکوت آسمان ها را در نظر گرفته است و قرآن کریم بهره مندی های دنیوی و اخروی را. https://marefateadyan.nashriyat.ir/sites/marefateadyan.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/1_42.pdf
