Common and accustomed vocabulary to human life, have been used simply for the sake of ethical and religious teachings in these texts, such as names associated with nature, plants and animals. Considering the abundant usage of animal names in the Holy Quran and the Gospel, this paper seeks to study and compare the names of this semantic domain in terms of frequency and type, semantic meaning, and relevance in these Books. Findings show that, there are some similarities and differences in this regard, which some similarities are the abundance of implications with a " referential" "generic" "constant" and "explicit" characteristics, and also the objective usage of animals in the verses of these three Books includes "the recognition of guidance", "the recognition of path" and "anthropology". The scope and diversity of the Quranic subjects can be mentioned among the differences in relation to the Gospel of Matthew and John. یکی از ویژگی های کتب مقدس، روانی و سادگی متن است که با وجود معانی عمیق و دقیق به کاررفته در آنها، امکان درک این متون را برای مخاطبِ عامه فراهم ساخته است. واژگان معمول و مأنوس با زندگی بشر، همچون اسامی مربوط به طبیعت، گیاهان و حیوانات در این متون، در عین سادگی، در جهت آموزه های اخلاقی و دینی به کار رفته اند. با توجه به کاربرد نام واژه های حوزۀ حیوانات در دو کتاب مقدس قرآن کریم و اناجیل مسیحیّت با فراوانی قابل توجه، پژوهش حاضر درصدد است تا نام واژه های این حوزۀ معنایی را به لحاظ فراوانی و نوع، دلالت معنایی و نیز موضوعیت در سه کتاب، بررسی و مقایسه کند. نتایج حاصل از بررسی این دسته از نام واژه ها بیانگر شباهت ها و تفاوت هایی در زمینه های مورد بررسی بود؛ از جملۀ شباهت ها می توان به فراوانی دلالت های دارای مشخصّه های «ارجاعی»، «عام»، «ثابت» و «صریح» و نیز کاربرد موضوعی حیوانات در آیات حاوی موضوعات «راهنماشناسی»، «راه شناسی» و «انسان شناسی» در هر سه متن اشاره نمود. از تفاوت ها نیز می توان گستره و تنوع موضوعی بیشتر در قرآن کریم نسبت به دو پیکره‌ی متّی و یوحنا را نام برد. https://marefateadyan.nashriyat.ir/sites/marefateadyan.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/2_29.pdf
