abstract = {The present article consists of two main parts. The first part touches upon the meaning, origin and development, various interpretations and explanations of the doctrine of Trinity over the historical periods. The second part is devoted to the way the Qur'an criticizes this doctrine. The word “Trinity” is mentioned twice in the Qur'an and it is rejected and criticized by the Qur'an. The Qur'anic verses define the Trinity as a blasphemous belief and point to the ground of its development. Some other verses, which do not explicitly mention the Trinity but stress the idea of the sharp distinction between the theistic idea of God and Christ in Islam and the Christian theological ideas based on the Trinity, strongly reject the main concepts of Trinity such as God's having a son, the Divinity of Christ, Christ  as the son of God or the identity between Christ and God.},

abstract_fa ={این مقاله دارای دو بخش اصلی است. در بخش نخست مفهوم شناسی، سیر پیدایش، تحولات و تفسیر و تبیین های گوناگون تثلیث، در دوره های مختلف تاریخی به اجمال بررسی شده است. در بخش دوم، نگرش انتقادی قرآن کریم درباره آن آمده است. قرآن کریم، دو بار مفهوم اصطلاحی «تثلیث» را به روشنی یاد کرده و به نفی و نقد صریح آن پرداخته است. در این آیات، ضمن معرفی تثلیث به عنوان عقیده ای کفرآلود، به زمینه های پیدایش آن، اشاره شده است. در دسته ای دیگر از آیات، بدون یادکرد صریحی از تثلیث، ضمن ارائه خداشناسی توحیدی و مسیح شناسی کاملاً متفاوت با الاهیات تثلیثی، مبانی و مفاهیم اصلی تثلیث، مانند فرزند داشتن خدا، الوهیت، پسر و زاییده خدا بودن مسیح(ع) و این همانی الله و مسیح(ع) به شدت انکار شده است.},
