abstract = {Abstract
Some Christian writers believe that Christians have never worshiped Mary, although she is highly respected in Christianity. Accordingly, they hold that the Glorious Qur'an - God forbid - has wrongly accused Christians of worshiping her, because one of the Qur'anic verses says that Christians consider Mary as god. The present paper, which investigates the issue seeks, on one hand, to prove that Christians worship Mary, and propagate and encourage other Christians to worship her evidence from eminent bishops' sayings and conduct of some Christians in different periods. On the other hand, it tries, by investigating the content of aforementioned noble verse to show that the Glorious Quran does not refer to what these writers claim, rather it focuses on a completely different issue.

abstract_fa ={برخی نویسندگان مسیحی معتقدند اگرچه حضرت مریم(س) در جهان مسیحیت از جایگاه والایی برخوردار است، اما هیچ گاه آن حضرت را پرستش نکرده اند. از این رو، برآن اند که قرآن کریم ـ العیاذ بالله ـ نسبت ناروایی به مسیحیان وارد کرده است؛ چراکه این کتاب آسمانی، در یکی از آیات خود فرموده است که مسیحیان  حضرت مریم(س) را خدا می دانند. این مقاله، با کنکاش در این مسئله، از یک سو با ارائه شواهدی از میان گفته های بزرگان کلیسا و رفتار برخی مسیحیان در زمان های مختلف، پرستش حضرت مریم(س) و تبلیغ و ایجاد انگیزه در میان سایر مسیحیان برای پرستش آن حضرت را ثابت می کند و و از سوی دیگر، با بررسی مفاد آیه‌ی شریفه برآن است که قرآن کریم، آنچه را که این نویسندگان ادعا کرده اند، بیان نداشته و قرآن کریم اساساً مسئله‌ی دیگری را یادآور شده است.},
