Using a descriptive-analytical method, the paper examines the prophetic and Alawi lifestyles in dealing with the people of the Book, and by studying the military aspect of confrontation, it has come to the conclusion that the reactions of the Prophet of Islam and Imam Ali to this group were always aimed at preserving Islam and never meant to destroy them. Hence, they mainly focused on morality, wisdom and Shariah in all their approaches, methods and tools. In addition to peacefulness, features such as vision, awareness, perpetual readiness, power and appropriate reaction to invasions are the most visible important features in their lifestyles. چگونگی برخورد با اهل کتاب، به عنوان کسانی که دین شان به اذعان خود اسلام، دست کم، اصل و ریشه ای راستین دارد، مستلزم توجه به ظرایفی است که می باید با در نظر گرفتن آنها در مواجهات، هم وجاهت دین اهل کتاب حفظ شود و هم در صورت وجود توطئه ، با هجمه های آنان مقابله ای مناسب صورت گیرد. مقاله، با شیوه‌ی توصیفی تحلیلی، به بررسی سیره‌ی نبوی و علوی در مواجهه با اهل کتاب پرداخته و با بررسی جنبه‌ی نظامی مواجهه، به این نتیجه رسیده است که واکنش های پیامبر اسلام صلی الله علیه و آله و امام علی علیه السلام در برابر این گروه، همواره با هدف حفظ اسلام و نه به قصد از بین بردن آنان صورت می گرفت. از این رو، محور برنامه‌ی ایشان، توجه به اخلاق، خرَد و شرع در همه‌ی رویکردها، روش ها و ابزارها بوده و در ضمن صلح طلبی، ویژگی هایی چون دوراندیشی، هوشیاری، آمادگی همیشگی، اقتدار و واکنش متناسب با تهاجم ها نیز از مهم ترین شاخصه های قابل مشاهده در سیره‌ی ایشان است. https://marefateadyan.nashriyat.ir/sites/marefateadyan.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/2_28.pdf
