abstract = {This research seeks to investigate the moral code of one of the oldest monotheistic religions and only living mystical religion in the world, i.e. Manda'i Sabaeans. This paper cites Sabaeans' sources, specially 'Ginza Rba' and 'The Book of John' using a descriptive-analytical method. It expounds the foundations of Sabaeans' moral code in theology, anthropology and epistemology and touches on their history and beliefs. The anthropology and epistemology of this religion should be the basis for studying the components of the moral code of this religion in order to discover its moral code.  This paper concludes that "moral theism, affection, moral responsibility and the golden rule" are the four fundamental principles of Manda'i's moral code which is true of the moral systems of other religions. },

abstract_fa ={هدف این پژوهش، بررسی و تبیین نظام اخلاقی یکی از قدیمی ترین ادیان توحیدی و تنها آیین عرفانی زنده‌ی جهان، یعنی دین صابئین مندائی است که با روش توصیفی– تحلیلی و با مراجعه به منابع مقدس آنان، به ویژه گنزا ربا و تعالیم یحیی علیه السلام انجام گرفته است. این پژوهش پس از معرفی مختصری از تاریخ و عقاید دینی صابئین مندائی، به تحلیل مبانی نظام اخلاقی آنان، در سه حوزه‌ی الهیات، انسان شناسی و معرفت شناسی پرداخته است. برای کشف و تبیین نظام اخلاقی این آیین، دیدگاه الهیاتی، انسان شناختی، و معرفت شناختی این دین، مبنای بررسی مولفه های نظام اخلاقی، یعنی نظریه ارزش، اصول اخلاقی و هدف غایی اخلاق قرار گرفته است. در نهایت، نشان می دهد که اصول «خدامحوری اخلاقی، محبت، مسئولیت اخلاقی و قاعده زرین»، چهار اصل بنیادین نظام اخلاق دین مندائی هستند که در نظام های اخلاقی سایر ادیان به روشنی قابل مشاهده اند.},
