The language of allegory is the best and closest language to human understanding, because it expresses the conditions of the human being and the world in the form of sense and experience. This literary style can also be noticed in mystical texts, especially Indian mystical texts. A comparative and bilateral study of Persian and Hindu literature indicates that there are allegorical similarities and commonalities between them. For this purpose, making a review of some Indian mystical texts and prominent Persian mystical texts, this paper makes a comparative study of the art of allegory and comments on the fiction allegories common between Persian and Indian. The research findings indicate that the fiction allegories in Persian literature are similar to those of the Indian mystical literature in content as well as the structure and elements of allegory. «تمثیل»، یکی از رایج ترین شیوه های انتقال معانی مجرد و انتزاعی در ادب فارسی است که موضوعات پیچیده و نامحسوس دینی و عرفانی را ساده و قابل فهم می کند. به کارگیری زبان تمثیل، بهترین و نزدیک ترین زبان به فهم و ادراک آدمی است؛ چراکه احوال مربوط به انسان و جهان را در قالبی محدود به حس و تجربه بیان می کند. این شیوه‌ی ادبی، در سایر متون عرفانی، به ویژه متون عرفانی هندی نیز قابل مشاهده است. بررسی تطبیقی و دوسویه میان ادب فارسی و ادب هندی، به شناخت دقیق شباهت ها و اشتراکات تمثیلی آنها می انجامد. بدین منظور، این پژوهش با سیری در متون عرفانی هندی و متون برجسته عرفانی فارسی، به بررسی تطبیقی هنر تمثیل پرداخته و تمثیلات داستانی مشترک آن دو، مورد نقد و ارزیابی قرار گرفته است. یافته های پژوهش، حاکی از این است که تمثیلات داستانی در ادب فارسی، علاوه بر مضمون و محتوا، از نظر ساختار و عناصر تشکیل دهنده‌ی تمثیل نیز با ادب عرفانی هندی مشابهت دارند و از آن تأثیر پذیرفته اند. https://marefateadyan.nashriyat.ir/sites/marefateadyan.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/7_13.pdf
