Some sections of Ardavirafnameh, one of the religious books of this religion, deal with the reward for the righteous and punishment for the sinful who have been negligent in work, production and agriculture or who have not endeavored in doing so. Men deserve punishment or reward according to their deeds, as it is pointed out in this religious text. Pointing out the otherworldly reward or punishment in the material world, Ardavirafnameh attempts to make known material incumbent on its people such as agriculture and business. This issue was vitally important in politics and it was of great help to the Sasans. Probably the content of Ardavirafnameh, is an indication of the cultural and political Sasan vantage point. Aside from dealing with the importance work and agriculture in Zoroastrianism, this paper answers the question as to how a text like Ardavirafnameh can explicitly talk about production, agriculture and work in imposing the right punishment for man`s deeds. در دین زرتشت کار، تولید و کشاورزی دارای اهمیت بسیاری بود. بخش هایی از ارداویراف نامه، یکی از متون مذهبی این دین، به عِقاب گناهکاران و پاداش نیکوکارانی می پردازد که در زمینه کار، تولید و کشاورزی سهل انگاری کرده، و یا در انجام این امور تلاش و کوشش نموده اند. در این متن دینی، انسان ها به لحاظ اعمال خود و متناسب با آن، در جهان آخرت مستوجب عذاب و یا مستحق پاداش نیک می گردیدند. ارداویراف نامه برآن است تا با نشان دادن عذاب و ثواب اخروی اعمال انسان در جهان خاکی، به مردمان روزگار خویش، به ترویج و تبلیغ اعمال مینویی از جمله کار اقتصادی و کشاورزی بپردازد. این موضوع، از منظر سیاسی مهم تلقی شده، به اقتصاد دولت ساسانی کمک می کرد. احتمالاً، محتوای کتاب ارداویراف نامه، به نوعی بیانگر اندیشه مذهبی و سیاسی پادشاهان ساسانی بوده است. این مقاله، ضمن پرداختن به جایگاه و اهمیت کار و کشاورزی در آیین زرتشت، به این پرسش پاسخ می دهد که چه عواملی موجب گردید متنی مذهبی مانند ارداویراف نامه، به صراحت در مورد کار، تولید و کشاورزی به ارائه کیفر متناسب با عمل بپردازد. https://marefateadyan.nashriyat.ir/sites/marefateadyan.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/6_20.pdf
