Analyzing different aspects of this fact and taking into consideration the views of Jewish scholars , it seeks to present clear principles for the legitimacy of war and its leadership. In this process, Halakhah relevant to Malhamat Miswa has occurred. Malhamat Miswa is an obligatory war in Judaism whose objective is continuation of the domination of Children of Israel on the Promised Land and defending the Jewish integrity. However, the experience of establishment of a monarchical government on the one hand, and confrontation of Jewish scholars with modern governmental systems on the other hand paved the way for the raising the issue of a legitimate war known as Malhamat Rashwat. Malhamat Rashwat prescribes for the king to wage a Jewish expansionist war rather than a defensive war, with the aspiration of making geographical expansion or promoting the rule of the Jews . It may continue as long as the enemy is surrendered or destroyed. آیین یهود نیز مانند هر دین دیگری جنگ را بسان واقعه انکار ناپذیر حیات بشر قلمداد کرده و ابعاد این واقعیت را کاویده و کوشیده است تا در سایه درنگ در خور توجه دانشوران شریعت موسوی ضوابط و مرام نامه روشنی از اقدام بدان و راهبری جنگ به دست دهد. در این راستا هلاخاهای مربوط به ملحمت میصوا رخ نموده است. ملحمت میصوا یک جنگ واجب یهودی است که هدف از آن استمرار حاکمیت بنی اسرائیل بر ارض موعود و دفاع از کیان یهود است. اما تجربه برقراری حکومت و استقرار پادشاهی از سویی و مواجهه دانشمندان یهودی با ساختارهای حکومتی نوین از سوی دیگر طرح مسئله جنگ مشروع با عنوان ملحمت رشوت را زمینه ساز شد. ملحمت رشوت به پادشاه اجازه می دهد تا جنگ توسعه طلبانه یهودی که جنبه دفاعی ندارد را با آرمان گسترش جغرافیا یا اعتلای حاکمیت یهود آغاز کند و تا تسلیم دشمن یا نابودی او ادامه دهد.
