Although there is a difference in Judaism and Christianity regarding his prophethood, but Islamic narrations confirm his prophethood. Using the descriptive-analytical method, the investigation of different aspects of his holiness, including the theological, moral, behavioral, jurisprudential, political, and social dimensions in the form of examining the texts, and especially the books attributed to the prophet Daniel (PBUH), is the most important goal of this article. The result obtained from the study of different aspects of the life of that Prophet is that Daniel (PBUH) is introduced as a prophet in Abrahamic religions who has outstanding characteristics. Most of the topics related to Daniel's prophet (PBUH) in the authentic texts of Abrahamic religions are like each other and this point is effective in the convergence of Abrahamic religions. حضرت دانیال(ع) جوانی یهودی که در ایام حمله‌ی نبوکدنصر به اورشلیم دستگیر و به بابل تبعید شد، با وجود مشکلات عدیده‌ای که در ایام اسارت با آنها مواجه بود، توانست به جایگاهی ویژه در دربار پادشاهان دست یابد. گرچه در یهودیت و مسیحیت درباره‌ی پیامبر بودن آن حضرت اختلاف است، لیکن روایات اسلامی نبوت آن حضرت را تأیید می‌کنند. بررسی ابعاد مختلف زندگی آن حضرت، اعم از بعد اعتقادی، اخلاقی، رفتاری، فقهی، سیاسی و اجتماعی در قالب بررسی متون، و بالاخص کتب منتسب به دانیال نبی، و با اتخاذ روش توصیفی ـ تحلیلی، از مهم‌ترین مباحث این نوشتار است. مهم‌ترین نتیجه‌ای که از بررسی ابعاد مختلف زندگی آن حضرت حاصل می‌شود، این است که حضرت دانیال(ع) در ادیان ابراهیمی از پیامبرانی معرفی شده که دارای ویژگی‌های برجسته‌ای است. بیشترِ مباحث مربوط به حضرت دانیال(ع) در متون معتبر ادیان ابراهیمی با یکدیگر مشابهت دارند و این نکته در هم‌گرایی هرچه بیشتر ادیان ابراهیمی اثرگذار است. https://marefateadyan.nashriyat.ir/sites/marefateadyan.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/2021076-1717311550.pdf
