Traditionalism holds that every tradition is a manifestation of the sun of guidance and a wave of Truth Sea. Using an analytical-narrative approach, the present paper deals with the way through which we can develop an approach to understanding see whether or not the tradition intended by traditionalists meets the needs of modern man properly. Providing a theoretical framework for understanding the traditionalist trend of the recent century, this paper seeks to study Frithjof Schuon's view called "transcendent unity of religions". This paper is a prelude to the study of trend of contemporary religious thought and is intended to study it to improve religious knowledge and logically confront with questions and challenges which the studies about trends face. یکی از گفتمان‏ های مهم در حال حاضر، جریان سنت‏گرایان است که به بررسی «سنّت» به عنوان پدیده‏ای با منشأ الهى می‏پردازد. جریان سنت‏گرا، هر سنتى را جلوه‏ای از جلوه های خورشید هدایت و موجی از دریای حقیقت می‏داند. این نوشتار، با رویکردی گزارشی، تحلیلى به این موضوع می‏پردازد که چگونه می‏توان به این رهیافت رسید که آیا سنت موردنظر سنت‏گرایان، پاسخ مناسبی برای نیازهای انسان معاصر دارد؟ هدف این مقاله، در عین ارائه یک چارچوب نظرى براى شناخت جریان سنت ‏گرا در سده‌ی اخیر، بررسی دیدگاه «وحدت متعالی ادیان» از منظر شوآن را وجهه همت خویش قرار داده است. این پژوهش، از یک سو خود مقدمه‏ اى است براى جریان‏شناسى تفکر دینى معاصر و از سوی دیگر پى‏جویى و بهره ‏گیرى از آنها براى به‏ سازى معرفت دینى و رویارویى منطقى با پرسش ‏ها و چالش‏ هاى فراروى مطالعات جریان‏ شناسانه است. https://marefateadyan.nashriyat.ir/sites/marefateadyan.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/6_6.pdf
